Crt monitor vs lcd/tft monitor

Im using crt monitor since years...setting refresh rate for monitor to highest gives relierf to eye...(desktop properties>setting>advance>monitor)

Im planning to upgrade to a lcd monitor.
Does anyone have any information whether a CRT will be a better choice for DE patients or the lcd?

I have wondered about this as well. I have tried to find evidence one way or the other and haven't been able to thus far. Generally people find LCD to be less straining though.
