I'm a passionate reader at all hours, day and night (nights because I'm unfortunately a very light sleeper). If I'm not reading, I'm likely to be watching TV out of the corner of my eye while working here on my computer for many hours, day and night. My current eye doc -- who had nothing to do with my Lasik surgery eight years ago -- has talked to me about how to get the very best vision, near and far, with the least eyestrain, around the clock. She strongly advocates lighting fixtures with the brand name of OTT, which allege to offer "full-spectrum" light.
I've done a bit of looking online, and they seem quite expensive. Hence my query here (which I'm also cross-posting on our sister bulletin board, D'Eyealogues at LaserMyEye).
Anybody have experience with these products? Pro/con as to their effectiveness and their value?
Feel free to e-mail or to Private Message me if you'd rather not respond publicly. Thanks in advance!
