I've had several different adverse effects from Lasik but one the worst is light sensitivity. Passing headlights is like staring into the sun. I never had a problem before lasik, never even needed sunglasses in the sunniest conditions. The odd thing is that the sensitivity didnt start unitl about a year and a half after surgury. Doctors have no answers, does anyone else suffer from this?
-I was told it was from dry eyes but the dryness has been much better recently with no change in sensitivity
-Because they were dry so long could permanent damage have occured because I did not protect my eyes from bright lights when they were dry
-Is there any other test or treatment that has helped with any one of you who have this problem
-Can irregular astigmatism cause light sensitivity, is that something scheral lenses can help?
