That is such a good idea Minni, I know of nothing such as what you describe, but it certainly seems like it could be done, and be effective for a lot of us.

Actually I have a pair of very comfortable AquaSphere swim goggles made of silicone.

I analyzed them, and saw that my idea might very well be workable with the AquaSphere.
I know nothing about electronics, which is the only reason I'm not sure re: feasibility.

I'm also unsure if it would get too hot, or fog up.
Perhaps dish-lotion on the frames could help with the fogging issue.

As for running a wire through the silicone, there definitely is room in the swim-goggles to run a Slim wire within the silicone of each frame (running around circumference of each frame).
