  • Clic Goggles

I just saw the Clic goggles again at a trade show. Clic's booth was very nice and had loads of goggles and readers on display. I had a pair of Clic's once and found them to be quite comfortable. I gave them away when I decided to buy my prescription Harley's.

Some features about the Clic's that I value more now than I did at one time: 1. the lens is smaller than my Harley's so in all likelyhood would give a lot less distortion/ 'fishbowl' effect. 2. They come with interchangeable clear lenses (plano). 3. They have specially constructed anti-fog lenses which do not, as I recall fog up - which my Harley's do. 4. They are bit cheaper. The goggles at the trade show were averaging $55. However, I just checked the Clic site and the goggles are $59.95 plus $9.95 s&h.

I even think the readers would be more convenient than I earlier had given them credit for. You can 'unclic' them and have them around your neck without them dangling in the way. Same thing with the goggles. No dangling and swinging.

    The readers are $30 plus $10 s&h.
