broken goggles??

Yesterday I took one of my pair of Panoptx goggles to the eye glasses store to get them tightened. (I didn't buy them there, but have bought two other pairs of goggles there) The woman accidently broke the frames when trying to bend them in. Has this happened to you? I'm not sure if I will have to pay for them or not. Do they have insurance for this sort of thing?She was trying to be helpful..
Meanwhile, my eyes are really bothering me because they are the goggles I wear almost all the time. Luckily I have my onion goggles for close work, and sunglass goggles for outside, but they are not as comfortable.
Oh, well. Rough weekend.
