Well, the Cocoons were a big disappointment.
I had high hopes that I would be able to wear them around my colleagues without feeling strange, and they do actually look good, and they fit over the glasses as they should, but they do not fit close to my face. Not AT ALL. There is a big gap along the underside of the frames. Even when I wear them without glasses under. So there is no moisture chamber effect, and hence, no point. I don't understand why some people here are recommending them?

The model I got was the 'Wide (ML)' type.

Meanwhile, I have had to stop using the safety glasses at home because I developed a rash from them. Apparently because of the latex material.

So now I am back at looking at the different options. I imagine it won't be too long before I order something again, because I still feel there is a real opportunity here.

Sorry to hear that. Bear in mind that eyewear (esp. if no foam) is very individual in the fit. I have a pair of some kind of fitover-style sunglasses from LiveEyewear that I often wear while driving. I don't wear glasses, but these sunglasses are relatively small, and give me a close enough fit that they do quite well for driving protection on good days.

      Have you tried Onion Goggles?

If you're not blinking, try using Blinkers

If you are going into stare mode while working on the computer, trying using DEZ's blinkers: http://www.dryeyezone.com/reminders/index.html. I click on one, move it to one corner of the screen, and continue working. You'll notice the eye blink from your peripheral vision, and it will remind you to do so.

          safety goggles

I wear safety goggles over my glass while at the computer and they do help a lot. They are not comfortable, however it is better than having corneal erosions. They would not work in an office setting, but for home they help.

As for fit overs, I have some, but they are not a perfect solution because they do not fit close enough and you generally have to get a larger size than you need which stinks. I tried to get smaller regular glasses so I could hopefully get a smaller pair of fitovers, but the smaller fitovers don't give me adequate coverage against air circulation. I did try on some in a drugstore and they seemed to have more shielding on the side and bottom, but again they were too big. I don't understand why they can't make some that are reasonable sized and still block air circulation.

            Finally ordered them

I ordered the Guard Dogs fitover rx today. I'm planning to wear them over my reading glasses while I'm at the computer. I have a small face and I'm hoping these things work. Winter is killing me. I'll report in when I get them.
