I finally broke down and bought the "cheaper" option in goggles and I must say, I love them! First of all they fit tight against my face and both pairs of my panoptyx I have to use the strap to get that snug fit. I tried on a ton of panoptyx and the ones I have were the best fit but I still need the strap. Not so with the onion goggles!! That is a big difference for me in making my goggles hastle free. Just popping them on and having them stay in place is awesome. And for me they are quite comfy! The only downside is I wish they were tinted so I could use them as sunglasses! And the antifog lens that they come with really seems to be holding up. This morning in the car I used them with the heater on and the fog was less than what I have with my panoptyx. I am so glad I stopped "brushing" off these cheapies and finally ordered a pair.

You "might" be able to persuade an optician to make some tinted lenses for your Onion Goggles. They should be able to remove the lens and put it in their regular machine that cuts a new lens using the old one as a pattern. Sometimes the "optician made" sunglass lenses lose their tint over time, but it's not very expensive, and you can get more if they fade.

Cool idea, thanks! I will check with my ex-optometrist to see about this. I haven't wanted to go back to him cause I know he will smack me for having lasik. As if I haven't smacked myself a thousand times already!!
But if anyone will have these made for me it would probably be him.
