Just wanted to share some URLs for online providers of fitover-style glasses that may function, for many who wear prescription glasses, as adequate protective eyewear. These URLs will display pages featuring fitovers with yellow or clear lenses, but if you surf around each URL's larger web site, other options will become apparent. Please note that size matters! You may want to favor the companies that actually disclose the size of regular glasses that can be fit under a particular model of fitover, since it is easy accidentally to order fitovers that are either too big or too small. fitovers provide a budgetary bridge

So glad, Stella. Though fitovers may not appeal aesthetically to everyone, I find that more and more, techno-looking accessories are gaining acceptance, making it easier for us to wear our crisp-vision regular glasses under a fitover that then finishes the job by stopping air from skewering our sensitive ocular surfaces. I just got a look at the MEGs worn by models on the See Fit site, and was in awe of how chic they look, in a pleasing techno way! But back to the fitovers, some of us are not financially ready to order MEGs or custom chambers. . .or even the lovely Panoptyx frames (when an RX is not too strong). . .The fitovers can provide a good bridge, in these instances, over to the more expensive options, while we rebuild our budgets to prepare for more streamlined solutions. . .
