Tranquileyes procedure

I noticed the instructions I got with my tranquileyes indicate use distilled water, is it OK to use tab water? In all the discussion I had previously read on this site, I don't remember reading using distilled water only.

The manufacturer's website says "use filtered or bottled water when possible".

I think distilled is the 'ideal' way to go but... practically speaking, most of us don't.
