I had a lot of dry spots In the past, and all but one have been cleared up. I'm looking for any ideas as to the cause and advise on getting it cleared up. My doctor is more focused on reducing the inflammation, but the dry spot hurts.
We thought perhaps, while sleeping, the placement of my head on my pillow was causing my eyelid to open so I've been using an eye shield the past week but it doesnt seem to help.
Currently I'm using Systane Ultra, Lotemax, Restasis and lid hygiene to help with "marginal" bleph, along with the eye shield Not sure if "marginal" refers to the severity or the lid margins.
When I had dry spots previously, I was also struggling with SLK and detached vitreouses along with filaments so, looking back, there was just too much going on for me to know how long it took to clear up the spots or how, so any input on what to do or the possible cause of dry spots would be appreciated.
