  • Any thoughts on how to clean tranquileyes pads and goggles?

Been using the tranquileyes - such an obvious solution that too really works.

Does anyone have thoughts as to how to clean the pad and goggles? I'd rather not use anything - but given these things are holding moisture for 8+ hours next to a body part the chance that they delevop into bacterial holders seems fairly strong -

    Cheers -

    Foam Pad Cleanser

Mine came with a small bottle of foam pad cleanser. You should be able to order some.

      Here's the manufacturer's recommendation:

Hand wash moisture pads with antibacterial soap or mild baby shampoo and rinse thoroughly with hot water (shower temperature) after each use. Wash eye covers and eye cushion as needed.

After rinsing, gently squeeze excess moisture out of pads and foam. Pat any excess moisture out of eye covers with a towel and hang to dry. If you own a Starter Kit, use the white net wash bag for convenient hang dry
They also recommend replacing the pads every 2 months if you're using it every day.

As regards the cleanser made specially for TranquilEyes... the 'Chronic Dry Eye' and the 'Deluxe' kits come with their own bottle, but the 'Basic' kit does not so probably a lot of people don't have it. If you want you can get it separately for $7 here.
