  • Using Ocusoft Lid Scrub question

OK, Ive been using Ocusoft pre-moistened for a while and there
easy to use, but expensive. I just got the Ocusoft Dry Eye kit
from the Dry Eye Shop to save a little money.

Does one use these the same way?
Can I spray the foam onto something other then the supplied pads?
    How much do you spray?

    Any suggestions appreicated, thanks.
Great forum, Ive read a lot of your posts and am still
learning to get my DY under control.

I would use a bit of cotton. ie.....buy a bag of cotton balls, they are not expensive. You can probably tear one into two pieces and use that to scrub your eyelash line. I've done that with the foam. You just use enough foam to moisturize your eye lashes. it doesn't take a lot, but you don't want to skimp either.

I don't know, but I imagine a clean tissue (Kleenex) would also work in a pinch.

      Thanks Lucy, that makes sense.

I also tried spraying some on my finger in the shower then
      message the eyes gently.

My doctor just put me on Azasite, and together with lid scrubs
I've had a lot of improvement. I then follw up all my
      drops with the rice baggy.

After findng this forum, and reading the stories,
      I'm feeling more confident.

I spray the foam directly on my fingers and rub into the lash line for 10-20 seconds, then splash my face with water to rinse. I don't use any pads at all.
