lid scrubs or not for MGD?

i used to do lid scrubs-the ocusoft wipes 2x a day and then my doc had me go to once a day and now nothing. i have really bad MGD-no current outbreaks of blepharitis though.. I have tried other docs and a lot of them dont really say to use the scrubs either..

i was just curious if most of you with MGD use scrubs as maintenance? do they help keep the glands open? thanks!!

btw. i aslo do daily compresses with heat and massage

I use them occasionally but have to be careful because I tend to be a bit over zealous, resulting in sore lid margins. As far as I'm aware, scrubs don't make any difference to the MGs.
