How often should I clean my lids/glands?

Any ideas on how often this should be done. I have MGD/blepharitis. I don't currently do this too often but now and again I use a cotton stick with hot water to gentle wipe the margins.

My first doc said 3 times a day ,nurse told me 2 times other doc said one and finally another one said you need to find what works for you. I still dont know what works for me. Its a work in progress. Xx

Thanks Klee! Given that no know ones what this disease is all about I'm not surprised at the variety of answers you got! I guess whatever works best is probably closest the the mark. Thanks.

When you guys clean y'alls lids, do y'all actually see dirt on the wipe/q-tip? Because I do.. Even if I clean everyday I still see brown stuff on the wipe I'm using, but its even more so if I accidentally skip a few days.I'm just wondering if that's normal... X
