  • Lid Therapy for Lasik Dryness

I've never heard of lid therapy until I found this site - and find it intriguing. Is it something that would be useful for a Lasik patient? I don't have any other eye problems/disease so I'm uncertain if this would help me. Also does one have to use saline with the Q-tip trick? Would plain water work?

    Thanks for any advice/comments.

    Lid Therapy

Lid therapy is useful for many things, but it also works for just plain dryness. It gets the oil glands flowing and the oil helps keep your tears from evaporating. You may not notice much of a difference for the first few weeks, but give it a try for a good month.
