eyelid "dots"

On my upper eyelids I haver these small whitish dots that kinda itch. If I gently dislodge them the itch is gone. I'm not sure what these things are. Are they roots (baby lashes) or are they something I should be scrubbing off with the cleanser? Some areas of my right upper lids have small clusters of these "white dots" that are kinda hard to scrub off. What are they? Should I leave them alone?

Hello it sounds like youve got blocked meiboean glands youve got there..Ive loads of these and there the main cause of my own dry eye problem?Mines called meibomian gland dysfunction.To be treated with hot compresses and the lubricant eye drops..Take care...cb.
