Can you do lid scrub with permanent plugs?

I was recently at an ophthalmologist, i was previously diagnosed with blepharitis. I dont know if it was the lid scrub, or maybe he just did not see what the other ophthalmologist seen but he said i did not have blepharitis. He suggested getting plugs but he did not do them.

So the isuse i have, i stopped doing lid scrub for a week, i noticed my eyes or lashes were more irritated itchy and painful when I stopped the scrub.

I did have temp plugs 2 years ago but they fell out when i did the scrub.

So long story short, if i get permanent plugs can I still do lid scrubs?

Be very mindful of where the plugs are inserted. Also using a Q-tip can help keep from accidentally pulling them out.
