  • will warm compress increase the intraocular pressure?

I kindly have a very thin cornea only 430um after the lasik,I am afraid that it is too thin to undertake any additional press, now I was wondering that will warm compress increase the intraocular pressure?

Because someone said that glaucoma patient can not do warm compress to avoid increase intraocular pressure.

and anyone know what should I do or not to do in my daily life if my eye with such thin cornea?

    thanks !

I had a retinal detachment in 2001. So I'm messed
up from that with double vision and then dry eye.

Been using the warm rice baggy now for just over
    a year, 2 to 3 times a day. I also use Restasis
and have one punctal plug in each eye.

I get my pressure checked every 3 to 4 months.
Its never been over 19 in any eye, I've seen it
as low as 14. What will increase the pressure is
a steriod, which I've used with outbreaks of
iritus, over the years. My doc says my numbers
    look good.

Of all the treatments I've tried, the warm rice
baggy works the best for me over any drops.

    Hope this helps.
