I'm suppose to do lid massages after hot compresses but am unsure of how long to do it for. I generally do it for about a minute per eye (30 seconds per eyelid). Anyone have any suggestions?

Dr recommend to press each eyelid on the first third(nasal) for 3 seconds, then on the second third (central), then on the last third (frontal) .
I do it for 2 seconds so : 4 eyelids x 3 pressure x 2sec = 24 seconds.
I do it in the same time for the left eye and the right eye => only 12 seconds for all.
some time I add a movement from up and down for upper lid, and from down to up for lower lids. -
