I bought a new mask for heat/cold therapy for eyes today. Actually, it's "migraine relief." It is a "cadillac" of masks! It was $12.97 at Wal-Mart.
It is very soft and comfortable. It has magnet-therapy also, which I don't care about. It's just there. It contains a gel-pack which can be frozen or heated and inserted in the mask. The mask has a nice elastic band to hold in place and it's adjustable.
I just used it for a hot compress. You cannot put the gel-pack in the microwave as it's quite fragile. I heated a small bowl of water in the microwave for 3 minutes and then placed the gel-pack in the water for one minute.
This eye mask is by HoMedics and has a sub-title of "thera-p." I'm also going to post on LaserMyEye. I have my old faithful ice gel-pack which I'll leave in the freezer for when I need it. I'll use my new mask for heat when I need that.
