how often are you supposed to apply heat and express glands...?

I mean ... if that is how you're treating? Everyday? Twice a day?

It's pretty much your choice. In the beginning, I'd do it morning and night very gently. As time goes on you may find you're eyes are feeling better and can change to once a day, again whatever works for you.
