'Debridement-scaling of keratinized lid margin' makes me think of BlephEx. This has got to be less expensive than LipiFlow.

I had the debridement done prior to lipiflow and again during my one month follow up with my eye doctor. The first time he did my left eye it was as if a damn had burst. I felt so much moisture immediately. It was incredible. My eye dr was trained by Dr. Korb on this procedure.

He's currently writing up all the information accumulated at www.australiandryeye.webs.com - I'm just going over it and fixing a few sentences, etc (it's what I do best). I just bought Dr Korbs article that was published in the December 2013 issue of Cornea. No information on the actual procedure itself that can't be found with a google, but an interesting point is made on how the widened and shifted ('anteroplaced') LOM appears to create a significant physical challenge for the oil to reach tear film.
