    Hi Sazy123,

I just went through this article and have to agree, I love his enthusiasm. He seems to have a logical approach. I am sure his back ground is a definite driving force. Thanks for pointing me in his direction.

yes i like the part of doctors said these things were incurable and this is how he cured them..he hasn't updated on how hes doing for awhile from what i read, i wonder if he knows about this site..

      and this:

I asked my HMO ophthalmologist, "Has anyone come to you with dry eyes who later got rid of the problem?"

      Answer: "No."

My mission was clear. I'd be the first.

She said I'd be surprised at how this problem is increasing. We talked a bit and she said that as a scientist I know more about it than she does. I obviously don't know enough, because I haven't solved my own problem yet. Ophthalmologists are aware of university research, but the clinical setting is different.

        Hey Sazy123

I did a "dogpile" search and just typed in: xeno dry eyes and found his entire site it is aparently on the top 25 web searches in the California area where he lives? It also lists how he defeated the cavaties he eluded to.

qoute: Did I really improve my eye glasses prescriptionby .25 diopters with just 20 days of eye-exercises? Yup. It really works. I love my best friend for giving me these books! The prescriptions below were determined by the same computer at the same eye doctor. I started doing exercises and going without glasses on 7/3/2004. Twenty days later, I had an eye exam. Both eyes have improved by a quarter diopter. I honestly have been slack about doing the exercises, and I haven't charted my blur zone every day, but the little I've done has worked. See more below. I'll eventually list the eye exercises here too.

            Last Exam: 10-29-03 (expires 10-1-05)

            R -3.25 -0.75 016 PD 32.0
            L -4.00 -0.50 165 PD 29.5

            Today's Eye Exam: 7-22-04

            R -3.00 -0.75 017 PD 31.5
            L -3.75 -0.50 169 PD 30.0

Most people can barely tell the difference a quarter of a diopter makes to their prescription. Even if eye exercises worked, I'd never go to that much trouble for such a trivial improvement to vision

                Sigh.

Be careful about reading anything into this. What you see here are two prescriptions that are well within the margin of error for either trial lens, retinoscopy, or using a phoropter to measure a prescription. Notice that the eye exercises changed his pupillary distance, too What are the odds.....

Also, there is a big difference between pseudomyopia and myopia.

It's fairly possible to reduce or eliminate pseudomyopia (excessive tone in the focusing muscles), but not yet possible (practical, more accurately. It can be done with Atropine. Don't do it) to eliminate 'true' myopa (axial length of eyeball too long).

The likely 'link' between myopia and dry eye is, IMHO, that with near work, many of us blink far less. I'm not aware of any other proven link. Doesn't mean one doesn't exist, though.

Remember: most things that sound too good to be true ... are.

mmm yea im skeptical of course, ive read abit in to it and the reasons behind why it works sounds logical. obviously it wouldnt work for every1.. but its worth a shot doing eye exercises is free and easy. there must be people that have benefited if its so popular. maybe im just being niave
