PPI's (Acid Reflux Meds) Horrible for Dry Eye

After 3 weeks off taking OTC Prilosec, my dry eye is significantly worse. I have been off the drug for 3 weeks and my eyes have NOT recovered. I have been on Lotemax eye drops for 2 weeks.

If you have taken a PPI and stopped taking it and because your dry eye got worse, did your dry eye get better after using the PPI? What did you do to get it better and how long did it take?

I was on Prilosec OTC for three weeks. I had to stop using it because my dry eyes became worse. Physician put me on Lotemax eye drops for three weeks. No change. Has anyone had a similar experience? What has been the result?
