cough medicine??? ok for dry eyes?

does anyone have experience w/ taking cough medicine like Robitussin and the effects on dry eye? Does it hurt your eyes or not even affect it? thanks in advance!! this site and members are awesome...

Some of the Robitussin formulas have an antihistamine in them. I think it's the same antihistamine as Benadryl, which does dry my eyes. Maybe there is a formula without that component that would still work for you.
