resveratrol question

So I decided to try reseveratrol since it was suggested on some blepharitis websites to try it along with nac.


Anyway im curious since resveratrol comes from red wine extract is it possible this may make my eyes worse since alcohol dries out your eyes?

I know girls with very nice eyes who used to get very bad red eyes when they drank wine. I tried red wine once and it made me flushed and eyes red as well. But since i dont drink red wine that was only one instance but i do remember feeling overly warm and not wanting to drink it ever again.


Has anyone else taken this before, or have any comment on if i should take it or not?

My guess is that it would be the alcohol rather than resveratrol that does the drying, but a good person to ask is Dr. Lange, who has researched resveratrol:
