i know that fish oil is supposed to help with dry eye.. but does it help directly with MGD/blepharitis? My glands tend to clog up over time even when I do daily treatments with heat and massage. Is fish oil supposed to help with this inflammation as well by keeping the meibomian glands open?? thanks..

jenny fish oil's main function is to keep the meibomian secretions as fluid as possible. I am not aware of a study that suggests the fish oil has an impact on inflammation regarding the meibomian glands -

Does fish oil help MGD?
It seems to be good as a general anti inflammatory. There is even experimental evidence that omega-3s help people with bipolar disorder get a little more stable.
