I want to ask him a question based on a reply he gave to someone here a while ago.
I want to try incorporating blackcurrant seed oil for the GLA but in the response I read by Dr Lange on this subject he stated that this supplement must be taken alongside omega 3 (and mentioned EPA and DHA so I guess he was referring specifically to fish oil since EPA/ DHA are not in other omega 3 sources like flaxseed oil) to allow the GLA to be converted properly thus preventing an inflammatory response...
I can only take flaxseed oil as even the highest quality fish oil makes me itchy (I think) so I wanted to ask Dr Lange if flaxseed oil would be an alternative to fish oil and allow me to add in the blackcurrant seed oil for the GLA?
I have tried borage oil in the past for the GLA but I developed patches of eczema on my nose...
