oatmeal vs. whole grain cereal affecting dry eye?

i was just curious if oatmeal was considered 'safe' for dry eye.. that is primarily what i eat for breakfast..... and some sites say whole grain cereal is good too but some sites say its bad? any thoughts?

I have been wondering whether gluten may be a factor in my underlying inflammation.
I spend all my time dealing with the results of an abnormal tear film, but I have just realized, very little thought as to what is triggering the initial inflammatory response.
