I was curious if anyone was still taking the supplement for NAC and if so how it was helping the dryness and or gland secretions? i took it years ago and then stopped. i have sjogrens so i never really know what is helping or if it just the ups and downs of my disease.. thanks!

I tried it for a few months but it didn't seem to help. But I may need to try it again now that my ocular allergy is under control since the pain and dryness from that problem may have masked any positive results from the NAC.
BTW - There was some weird warning about not taking NAC with a common OTC, but now I can't remember which one. May have been Tylenol or Ibuprofen, but not sure. You may want to do a search of interactions online.

I bought the NAC but haven't used it yet. I'm afraid to be taking too many things. Its supposed to counter act the effect of tylenol, I believe.Comment
