sugar and dry eye... does this include fruit and honey?

i cant find any info on the net weather sugar causing dry eye includes fruits and/or honey--i take honey for my allergies and eat a lot of fruit but have cut all the other stuff out.. does anyone have any info on this.? thanks a lot!

I find that if I eat a lot of sweets my eyes hurt more than usual. The big Safeway cookies with lots of sugar in them seem to be the worse.
