can consuming too much sugar makes eyes so dry like glue?

i am wondering if my intense eye dryness like glue that came on yesterday is from the icecream i ate the night before???
do most of you eyes get worse ifyou eat high sugary foods???and does it come on all of a sudden or the next day?? thanks!!

Oh yes i have read many times on all different sites about connection between diabetis and eyes.
Many eye problems are caused and worsen by diabetis.Those who are already having weaker eyes should keep weight , sugar in control to avoid future worsening of problems.
Not sure if it can give problem very next day!But yes always have check on what u eat.Dietary system does have a part to play with dry eyes.Even walking would help relieve dryness a bit.Over all healthy living will prove beneficial for long term.
