Serrapeptase health benefits including eye

Serrapeptase promises to be a miracle enzyme which may help patients with mgd,eye floaters,eye pain and inflammation etc.
The enzyme works by breaking non living tissues within the body hence enhancing blood flows and mucus flows.
I took this for about 3 weeks now and i used to wake up with shut eyes but with this taken 10mg twice a day, i wake up with moist eyes.
This enzyme has been marketed as joint pain reliever.And i have heard its being widely used for heart related problems in japan n Germany since decades.

May I ask how it helps inflammation and mgd specifically? Ive tried a lot of fish oils and warm compresses with no relief. It sounds interesting my problem is mgd/allergies. Thank you.

It's a dietary supplement in the US so your insurance is probably not going to cover it. You can buy it online or at a local supplement store for about $20/bottle which will last you a month. There's no reliable scientific study to back up the claim that serrapeptase reduces inflammation or helps with dry eyes.

I have seen benefits from taking it for 2 weeks 20mg per day.Though the dosage may be increased upto 100mg for children and 300mg for adult. but i will try with 30mg now for a week.

I believe this is a silk worm enzyme? Given also to Lyme dieases suffers as an effective boifilm buster to pull out the bacteria.
