How many mgs of flaxoil is recommended?

Does anyone know the answer to this question? I am taking the softgels and the bottle says 1 softgel (1,000 mg) up to 6 times per day. That seems like a lot. Does anyone know how much doctor's usually recommend?

My doctor has me take 2 in the AM and one at dinner for a total of 3000 mg.

I have 1000mg three times a day as a figure, not sure where I got that from though.

Dosage

I take 4 in morning - 1200mg and 4 at night

I take 2,000 mg Flaxseed oil and 2,000 mg fish oil each day. I spread out taking them through the day with meals or snacks.

Well my doctor recommended me to start w/one at a day then move up to 3x a day. So it sounds like your on track .
