Oral steroids like prednisone?

Hi Pam,
I may have suffered a similar infammatory attack as a result of an autoimmune disorder. Just wondering how you knew that 70-80% of your tear glands were damaged? Is there a test for that?

Hi Pinky,

I went to a number of eye specialists until I found my current doctor (who specializes in ocular immunology) and through a lengthy and thorough clinical examination (as well as taking my medical history) he was able to diagnosis my condition.

I hope I am not hijacking this thread but just wanted to answer Pinky's question!
