  • compounded oral DHEA prescription

    Hi,

It has been a while since I have been on the forum. I recently started taking compounded oral DHEA that was prescribed by my doctor (not my ophthalmologist). My blood level was on the the very low side of normal. I was wondering if anyone else has tried that and if they noticed any difference with their eyes or any other issues or side-effects. I am still using DHEA eye drops, but if I stay on the oral meds, my ophthalmologist would like me off the drops. I tried going off, but I do notice a difference.

    Thanks.

Yes, it is a precursor for testosterone. My oil glands don't put out a lot of oil and when I first went on them, there was noticable difference, but it didn't last at that level.
