    ...also called N-Acetyl Cysteine. To those who have tried these orally (not the eye drops), have these supplements dried out your eyes? It works as a powerful antioxidant/mucolytic & also anti-inflamatory, and was curious if it's good for dry eyes.

    I use NAC, but no improvement. Have used it for 3 months...

      hmmm..that sucks. well, as long as it isn't any more dryin to the eyes i guess i'll try it...but only because it's a good antioxidant

        I'm sorry to say I tried it for 5 days and had to stop because it dried out my eyes and consecuently developed a new conjunctivitis, so be careful.

          extra dryness? HELL NO!!! I think I'll pass. I take blueberries or something else for antioxidant power!
