doxycycline whiten eyes??

have you ever noticed dat taking doxycycline whiten the eyes??? coz me i do...
well it does NOT make it 100% white but i'l say it clears about 50% redness.....
but if u are in a uncomfortable environment, i noticed the eye rebecome as it was before : more bloodshot.....

so doxycycline does take off imflamation BUT...hmm i wonder if it is true its effectiveness (being a antibiotics) will reduce over time....

tho it doesnot help much for my d.e , it helps a bit for bloodshot eyes....

and is it safe for longterm use?

When I was on doxy my eyes would go through varous changes, sometimes they would feel better but lok awfull, sometimes they would feel awfull be look totally white. I never really understood it.

I dont think doxy is anti-inflamatory, for me it seemed to have greater effect on my meibomian glands (it definately improved my oily layer).
