I've seen it's often mentioned on DEZ the risk of breastcancer and use of doxycycline. As I use doxycycline for my MGD, I've been worrying quite a bit.
One day I came across an article where doxycycline actually prevented cancer tumors from growing, and this lead me into doing more research. Eventually I found this very good article, talking about evidence in favour and evidence against doxycycline increasing the risk of getting breast cancer. The verdict was that "Based on the existing research, there is little conclusive evidence to suggest a positive relationship between doxycycline use and an increased risk for breast cancer. Quite the contrary, most documented research concludes that doxycycline may be an effective treatment option for breast cancer.#
