I have been on Oracea for exactly one month and I am not sure if it is doing anything.

Does anyone have any feedback or can say that they feel oracea has helped with their symptoms?

I have ocular rosacea which has led to inflammation extreme enough to cause MGD. My major issue is redish eyes and lack of oil production. I do not excrete solidified lipids, it is specifically a quantity issue, no so much quality.

Is Oracea just doxycylcine but in a smaller dosage for long term?

Yes, 40mg delayed release.

Stupid expensive, something like $220 per month. I have a $90 copay which comes down to around $25 bucks with the Oracea discount card from their website.
