Lacriserts in Canada??

So Lacriserts are not technically available in Canada, but has anyone been able to get them through Health Canada's Special Access Program?? (ie. the same program we use to access Restasis)

I got them about 1.5 years ago as a trial, since they were 'relaunching' them in Canada. I was given a box by my dr. Maybe your dr can give you a sample box. But they were awful. Felt fine for a couple of hrs, but then gucked up and actually scratched my eyes because they didn't fully melt. Couldn't push the things out either. Tried them several times but always same thing.

Well, it's good to know you were able to get your hands on them (but a bummer that they didn't work out for you!)

Hopefully they are still available without the need to go thru the Special Access Program!
