I have suffered dry eye syndrome for many years, inherited from my father. Progressively getting worse since having my tear ducts cauterized, using a humidifier every night, taking Omega 3's, doxycycline, Restasis (didn't help, so stopped after 2 yrs), tested for arthritis (negative), and every eye drop on the market! Finally, a new drop is helping! It is Soothe XP by Bausch & Lomb. I am able to sleep through the night without using eye drops, finally. Hope this will also help some of your readers.
