What's the difference between drops containing Sodium Hyaluronate vs. Hyaluronic Acid?

The difference is choice of terminology. You may also see it listed as Hyaluronan.

What can be, and is the difference, is the molecular weight of the products. The higher the molecular weight the more benefit to the ocular surface.

All I know is, one theory of why we get floaters is because our bodies don't produce enough Hyaluronic Acid, which lubricates our joints, and the inside of our eyes...they sell it as a supplement. never tried it, so wouldn't know if it works, i've just heard for some their floaters disappear after using it. other no.
