    Hi,
Has anyone here had any experience using Freshkote? a Dr. I saw recently mentioned this. At that appt he suggested we try Azasite, which I've found intolerable. Before I spend any more money on eye drops, I'd appreciate feedback. I have severe dry eye, mgd, and I've been on restasis for 6 mos now with what I consider minimal relief. Like a lot of you, my frustration level is really high right now. Thank you.

It made my eyes feel dryer. My doc thinks I am sensitive to the preservative in it. Everyone is different. Some people swear by it.
Every day with DES is like a box of chocolates...You never know what you're going to get.

Thanks for your input, Kitty. I guess I'll just have to try it and see. I'm pretty tired of getting my hopes up that something will prove helpful only to find out otherwise.

        Hi
Take a look at my recent posts on the subject of clinitas ultra 3, which is the same prep and you will see that it made things pretty bad for me too. It was not just the stinging, that is not a problem, but rather the very sudden worsening after two days on it. I am still suffering.
Obviuosly everyone is different and it has really helped some. I think you can either tolerate this or you cant, there are no half measures with this drop.
I think it is expensive in the USA? So a bit of a gamble I guess.

Hi Lulu, You know I haven't even looked into the price. I do have a prescription plan - but I think I'm just going to pass. I do hope you've recovered from the clinatas ultra by now... I'm still trying to get over a trial with Azasite- Waay to burny for me. I long for comfortable, clear eyes but I guess it's just not to be.
