  • Really, really crusty eyes and blurry vision in the morning from thick eye drops?

    Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone else experiences really crusty eyes and blurred vision in the morning that goes away when I yawn from using thick eye drops the night before?

When I use Optive eye drops the night before, this happens to me but not when I use Systane. However, Optive keeps my eyes moist throughout the night and Systane does not. So I don't really know what to do.. Use Optive, have moist but crusty eyes and blurry vision in the morning or use Systane, not have all that gunk on my eyes but have dry eyes but clear vision.

Hi Nathan, I'm new on here so my advice might not count too much. I just bought thera tears the liguigel 1% in the indiv. plastic vials preservative free. They are not working. I thought they were. I was so excited. The first night I used them my lashes and eyes stuck together like glue. When I woke up they slightly burned. I washed them and did a warm soak. My eyes felt so much better that day. I was so excited thinking I found something great. Wrong, I put them in the next night. I went to sleep and walk up a few times, my eyes were burning I felt my eyes going back to the bad state. I get getting up during the night and washing my eyes out. In the morning did the soak and my eyes are killing me today. I wish I just left my eyes alone last night. I think if your eyes feel better even though they are stuck together. I would use it. The blurry isn't good though, can you use less? If it hurts your eyes don't use it.
