Which eye drops were more therapeutic rather than provide just temp relief?

Which eye drops have therapeutic longer term effects versus just temporary relief? I read it here somewhere but I can't find it. I have to add in here that NONE I tried give me any kind of relief for the foreign body feeling but one doc said to use it anyway, that it would help me in the long run possibly but I lost the sheet they gave me that said which were good to use. Having this newfound blurry vision I probably just can’t see what I am looking for. Thanks.

I don't believe there is any drop that will continue to work after you have stopped using it. The manufacturers of Thera Tears tout that this drop can change the composition of the tear film, resulting in greater comfort over time. They are the only ones that have provided me with any relief, but if I don't use them often enough, I am back to square one.
