doc claims ointments like refresh pm dissipate on the surface/dont clog glands?

so now i am user of refresh pm..after years & years of refusing to use as i was afraid it would clog up my glands and further irritate my mgd i have sucumb to using it... as i am not using steriods anymore i need something in my right eye most days.

just curious to all of you out there who use ointment--do you find it further irritates or clogs your glands or do the glands stay about the same??? thanks so much if u can help!!

this is an article where both Dr. Latakny and my old corneal specialist Dr. Foulks are quoted as saying thick gels and ointments can clog the Meibomian glands... So now what do i use when in severe pain? What do any of you use???

Dwelle was recommended but i know they dont seel that anymore correct?? can anyone offer a suggestion other than using drops every 2 minutes in my right eye???thanks!!!
