In the US, Blink comes closest to the Hylo Fresh and Hylo Protect and Oasis TEARS comes closest to the Hylo Comod and Care products. I think the Oasis TEARS actually has a .15% HA.

        Hi Vladae,

I also like eye products from German company Ursapharm! There is nothing like them in the USA… The only Ursapharm product that can be order online on Amazon is Vitamin A-POS eye ointment:

Oasis Tears contain phosphates and active ingredient is glycerin.

Active ingredient of Blink Tears is polyethylene glycol.

Ursapharm products are phosphate free and don’t contain glycerin or polyethylene glycol.

Anyway, thanks for your help, indrep!

I now use HyloGel (by Ursapharm) and am *very* happy that I can buy it in Canada! So far, I don't think it's available in the US.

Some info I have on HyloGel includes
The high molecular weight Hyaluronate used is top notch quality, which is important for good lubrication. The safety of the airless pump system is unparalleled and proven for years in millions of patients in Europe. Hylo / Hylo Gel is not only preservative-free, but also phosphate-free. Why is phosphate-free important? Practically insoluble crystals can form the reaction of Phosphate with Calcium, which is released from damaged cells and can result in persistent impairment of vision. The extent of corneal epithelial damage is a decisive factor for calcification. If calcifications happen, they need to be surgically removed. Eye drops that are used for treatment of dry eyes, particularly after ophthalmic surgery or injuries with epithelial damage, should not contain any phosphate. Hylo / Hylo Gel contain a citric acid buffer, which ensures that no such calcifications can happen.
I saw my cornea specialist this week and he gave me two sample packages (each containing 5 vials) of both i-drop and i-drop PM. These drops are new (SAAG got them from Rexall Pharmacy, but I haven't been able to get them... I was so happy to get FREE samples!). These contain

water for injection, sodium chloride, glycerin, hyaluronan, sodium phosphate
Unfortunately, my eyes did not like i-drop or i-drop PM. My eye surfaces felt "congested" after using them. I'm going to give them one more try individually, but I think I'm going to return the unopened sample packages to my doctor so he can give them to someone else.

So, right now I'm sticking with HyloGel (under Glad Press N Seal) at night altho I still wake with dry eyes and need to use more drops.
