  • castor oil after lasik

I had my lasik 6 months ago and suffering from great dry eye. I have many eye drops but didnt work. I read from dryeyezone forum that using castor oil at bed time can cure dry eye.

    My question is that,

Is it safe to use castor oil after 6 month of lasik?

    Thnx

I'm no expert, but would not use castor oil, unless there is some formulated for safe use around eyes. I tried just regular castor oil and developed an infection of the lacrimal duct, which still troubles me. I think if you use rice baggies for compresses and lots of drops for a while, it might help. I was having problems and used the rice baggies 6 times a day and drops probably 15 or 20 times a day till it showed some improvement. They say don't use drops too often, but I would try them as needed for a couple of weeks anyway.
